As we approach the end times, Satan is doing all he can to stop man from knowing the truth. The truth is that he will be place in hell for eternity. Revelation 20:1-3.

But as we approach the second coming, be aware brothers and sisters that our Adversary is trying very hard to stop all knowledge of what will happen to him.

This year I have notice that the Da Vinci Code movie is coming out. Last year it was the book. Be aware that the book and movie is the work of the devil to undermine our Savior. The Da Vinci Code has taken parts of the bible and made our Savior Jesus Christ an ordinary figure. Then two months ago, I heard that they found the book of Judas, and how Jesus asked Judas to betray him. If any of you know Jesus as a personal friend, you would know that he will never place such a burden on his disciples. Only on himself.

 

Then finally last night, I saw on A Current Affair where a farmer died for 40minutes, and came back to life. And the question that asked was “Did you see heaven or any white light”?

He answered ‘No, nothing’.

 

In the days to come, we will see many signs and miracles, so focus and be true to he who is the Lamb.

I totally agree with you ... there's been a rise in false prophets and stuff like that..it's really frightening and stuff.. but im kinda excited cos it means that Jesus is coming back soon.. yay!!! but it also means that i have to pray more for my non-believer friends so they can be saved too

I remember ages ago. A fellow Bro in Christ asked me whether he should get the Da Vinci Code for himself and his cousins in Malaysia.
I told him that if it wasn't Da TRUTH it should be thrown in the garbage where it belongs.
When I think about it God really protected him and his family from the confusion of Da Vinci Code.

I don't know... I'm not against reading the Da Vinci code.... i quite enjoyed the story.. I know its made up... and that its just something for entertainment purposes..... and i guess added bonus is.... it says things that are against what I believe... and so by reading it... it made me want to go back to the bible and find the answers... and find reassurance in Him.. and His Truth.... so yeh........... but i guess for different people its different.... for me.. im not afraid to test my faith.... because if i dont test it... i wont know how strong i am... for Him... and if one day the devil decides to test me big time... i might not be prepared... and i might fail and fall at the time that i needed to not falter............ if u get what i mean............ juz my thoughts.

Interesting thread this DaVinci Code book and movie discussion - just some more thoughts to consider.

Is reading the book or seeing the movie wrong? I would advise that you do neither. I absolutely agree with Ben's comments that the whole DaVinci thing is a deception from the depths of hell. Anything that strives to dilute or refute the Divine Lordship and sinless nature of Jesus Christ is satan-inspired. Now as a strong Christian you might think to yourself "well I'm right enough with God to watch or read it whilst keeping myself safe from such claims, I can discern the good stuff from the bad and disregard the lies..." That maybe true for you but can your brother or sister in Christ according to the sureity of their faith do the same? Romans 14:13 speaks clearly "not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother or sister's way". Satan uses books and movies such as the Da Vinci Code to destabilise your relationship with Jesus and cause you to question the truth of your faith in Him. Suddenly your thinking "well maybe Jesus did have a wife & kids - well what's wrong with that?" That's why the devil is a deceiver, THE deceiver. He twists and turns the inner-most doubts and questions in your heart regarding your faith. Don't allow him the opportunity to do so - don't allow Satan a foothold in your life in any way (Eph 4:27). Some Christians argue that it is wise to expose yourself to the devil's tricks so that you can understand how he works and develop your strategic battle response plans. In principle that is true but all you need to know about Satan's evil modus operandi is well contained in God's Word. Stick with that and consign such crap as the DaVinci Code to where it truly belongs - the rubbish bin! Give God the Glory He deserves in every aspect of your life and in all you do, including what you read and watch!
